Stephan Terblanche

Stephan Terblanche grew up in Kuilsrivier in the Western Cape, where he matriculated at De Kuilen High School in 1978. After he completed his two years army conscription, he commenced with his tertiary education at the University of Stellenbosch, where he obtained the BA (Law) and LLB degrees. He has been practising as an attorney for a continuous period since 1989 and is also admitted and enrolled to practise as a conveyancer and notary.

Stephan has extensive legal expertise and practical experience in the field of property and related law, which enables him to deal with all property related matters. His experience involves residential developments, opening of sectional title schemes, servitudes, sub-divisions, consolidations, estate planning, trust law, corporate and commercial law, notarial matters and the drafting of contracts.

Christo Geldenhuys

Christo Geldenhuys grew up in Malmesbury where he matriculated at Swartland High School in 2013. Thereafter he commenced his tertiary education at the University of South Africa, where he obtained his LLB degree in 2017, while working and gaining valuable experience at a law firm in Malmesbury.

While completing his articles of clerkship, Christo also passed his admissions, conveyancing, and notarial examinations, whereafter he was admitted as an attorney, conveyancer, and notary of the High Court of South Africa in 2021. Since being admitted, Christo has gained valuable experience in corporate and commercial law, conveyancing, and notarial matters.

Heindrich Beukes

Heindrich Beukes was born in Montagu and has completed his Matric in 2013 at Montagu High School. He obtained his LLB degree in 2019 from the Nelson Mandela University (NMU) in Port Elizabeth and served his articles under Stephan Terblanche at Terblanche Geldenhuys Incorporated in Montagu.

While completing his articles of clerkship, Heindrich also passed his admissions examination. Following the completion of his articles, he further passed his conveyancing and notarial examinations, whereafter he was admitted as an attorney, conveyancer, and notary of the High Court of South Africa in 2024.

Rugaya Smart

Candidate Attorney

Rugaya Smart was born in Montagu and matriculated at Montagu High School in 2017. Thereafter, she commenced with her tertiary education at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) where she graduated and obtained her LLB degree in 2022.

After completion of her studies, she started serving her articles of clerkship in February 2023, under the supervision of Stephan Terblanche at Terblanche Geldenhuys Incorporated in Montagu.
